About me
Who I am
My name is Aidan Young and I am a trans, progressive, videographer and photographer based in Mulubinba/Newcastle, NSW. I have studied Film and TV at TAFE for the past three years, achieving my Certificate III, IV, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma, and am currently studying for a Bachelor's in Media and Communication at the University of Newcastle.
My Goals
I have a passion for social justice and believe strongly in creating a fairer world, free of oppression and inequality. I also believe that audio-visual media is one of the most revolutionary art forms, and is a powerful weapon in combatting the ruling establishment.
It is because of this that you can rest assured that I will deliver an impactful piece of content that accurately conveys your message.
My Experience
I am well versed in creating a compelling piece of audio-visual media, having worked with the NSW Greens for their 2023 State Campaign, as well as various other paid, volunteer, and student projects.
I've been active and involved in local activist spaces within Newcastle, so I understand the effort that it takes to organise effectively and what you'd want from a videographer or photographer.
